Hi,

I thought I had send this message already, but I can find it in my
outbox and not in my inbox, so I guess I have been dreaming. Sorry if it
is the second copy :)

I installed an Abit BP 6 with dual Celeron chips today. In the bord I
have a Compex RL100-TX 100 Mb NIC:
eth0: Digital DS21143 Tulip rev 65 at 0xa400, 00:80:48:CD:53:8B, IRQ 9.

This bord and NIC is running Linux 2.2.11 compiled without SMP OK. But
if I compile it as SMP I get get:
tulip.c:v0.91g 7/16/99 becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov
eth0: Digital DS21143 Tulip rev 65 at 0xa400, 00:80:48:CD:53:8B, IRQ 9.
eth0: EEPROM default media type Autosense.
eth0: Index #0 - Media MII (#11) described by a 21142 MII PHY (3)
block.
eth0: MII transceiver #8 config 3000 status 782d advertising 01e1.
eth0: Tx hung, 7 vs. 0.
eth0: Tx hung, 15 vs. 0.

I tried both the tulip.c that comes with 2.2.1 (0.83H), 0.91e and 0.91g.
All the same problem, I also tried to use tulip as a module without
succes.

Any suggestions?

Tia,
Bas
