Hello,
Today I installed my new Abit BP6 with dual Celeron 333. My NIC is a
Compex RL-100TX:
eth0: Digital DS21143 Tulip rev 65 at 0xa400, 00:80:48:CD:53:8B, IRQ 9.
Under Linux 2.2.11 with both the driver in the tar.gz (0.83H?) and 0.91e
and 0.91g work perfectly when used in a uniprocessor compiled kernel.
With SMP enabled in the kernel I get:
tulip.c:v0.91g 7/16/99 becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov
eth0: Digital DS21143 Tulip rev 65 at 0xa400, 00:80:48:CD:53:8B, IRQ 9.
eth0: EEPROM default media type Autosense.
eth0: Index #0 - Media MII (#11) described by a 21142 MII PHY (3)
block.
eth0: MII transceiver #8 config 3000 status 782d advertising 01e1.
eth0: Tx hung, 7 vs. 0.
eth0: Tx hung, 15 vs. 0.
I also tried to load as module, but that didn't help either :( The
bootup messages in both situations are the same, exept for the errors
:-)
Any suggestions on what to do?
TIA,
Bas
