Crossover Cable

I've two Allnet 8832 Cards with an DEC21143 Chip and wanna to connect
them with an
cross over cable as 100MbitTx with

    1 2 3 6

    3 6 1 2

but it doesn't do anything not even the status led for 100Mbit is on

What can I do should I use an 8 pair connection but then I have an
100Base T4 net
does the card supports this
