Hello Bogdan,

Thanks for the reply. There was a line in /etc/modules.conf:

alias eth0 3c59x.o

However, it is wrong. It needs to be:

alias eth0 3c59x 

i.e. leave off the .o

It now seems to detect the card on boot and set addresses etc...

Thanks for the clue. I'v emore experience of SUN's really.
