3c905b and weird behaviour with ifconfig

I have 3c905b and 3c900 combo cards in a Dell OptiPlex 5166.
 
The 3c905b is connected to Cabletron Fast Ethernet switch and I'd like
to get the card operating 100Mbit/s in full-duplex mode.

3c905b is eth0 and 3c900 combo is eth1.
I've tried to load the modules with different kind of commands:
 
insmod debug=0 options=4,0 full_duplex=1,0
insmod debug=0 options=8,0 full_duplex=1,0
insmod debug=0 options=9,0 full_duplex=1,0
insmod debug=0 options=20,0
insmod debug=0 options=24,0
insmod debug=0 options=25,0

but the behaviour is always the same. I've also tried these commands
with no full_duplex on.

The problem is that vortex-diag shows after insmod'n:

Transceiver type in use: 100baseTx.
 MAC settings: half-duplex.

and after ifconfig'n:
 
Transceiver type in use: 10baseT.
 MAC settings: full-duplex.
 
Is there any way to fix this or has someone any idea what's causing it?
 
If this kind of behaviour has not been reported yet I could get more
information about it to get it fixed. Just someone tell me what and how.
