"eth0 transmit timed out", 3c905B-TX

Hi,

We have a machine running Red Hat Linux, kernel 2.0.33, with the 3c59x.c
driver version 0.99E.  Ocasionally, this system starts giving out this
message:

Oct 15 00:02:31 jurere kernel: eth0: transmit timed out, tx_status 00
status e000.

over and over again, for quite some time.  The end result is that the
system gets completely cut out from the network.  The network card is a
3c905b-TX NM, the machine is connected to a 3Com switch, model 3300.  Is
that a known bug ? Does anyone know of something that can be done to fix
that ?
