Problem with new Cyclone

Just got a new PC here at work, and it has a 3c905B Cyclone. I'm on a 10MB
subnet.

It isn't working. :)

I've set up lots of Linux networking, with 3c509's, Netgear DEC Tulip's,
and 3COM PCMCIA cards, so I've done this before. My network configuration
is the same as the notebook sitting next to this one (up to the IP
address), so I'm pretty sure it isn't a software configuration problem.

First, I had the ff:ff:ff...problem. I fixed that: copied a compiled
2.0.35 kernel and 0.99G driver over. Just to be safe, I did a hard
power-off (unplug) too, to ensure this wasn't my problem.

The card is detected: everything seems to be OK (output included), but I
just can't see the network. ifconfig shows packets out and none in (after
I tried pinging something). route shows 2 lines (the subnet and loopback)
and locks up, when it should have 2 more lines (as my notebook shows), or
at least one more with "default".

Everything's acting like nothing's working.

Any ideas?

Kevin
