Tx Ring full, refusing to send buffer

This may be a stupid newbie question, and if it is, I apologize for
wasting the bandwidth.

kernel : 2.0.34 driver

version : 3c59x.c:v099E 5/12/98 (interesting point..I have two versions of
the same "version" -- one is 70k, the other 95k. the first gives the
errors I'll describe. The second absolutely and loudly refuses to
compile..I'm not sure where I got it [maybe a wrong link?], but the first
I got from http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/vortex.html))

card : 3c905B

Problem : I copied the 3c59x.c to the drivers/net/3c59x.c, and made the
kernel in the normal way. However, after booting and bringing up the
network I get "eth0: Tx Ring full, refusing to send buffer." I know that
this is a newer card, so is it just that I haven't found the right driver
(in which case I apologize for wasting bandwidth, but where can I get it?)
or is this a known problem? Is there a fix?

Thanks

Vinnie
