I made a clean install of Redhat 7.0 on an Intel based system. After having
problems getting a Netgear FA310TX network card to work I found the Scyld
site and found the precompiled RPM which I tried to install. I get the
following error for many of the individual drivers "file
/lib/modules/2.2.16-22/net/tulip.o from install of netdriver-2.1-2 conflicts
with file from package kernel-2.2.16-22" . I have tried it as an upgrade
and install, also if I tell it to go
ahead and install anyway the package install still fails. Is there something
I need to do before installing the RPM? Has it worked for anyone?
Thanks
Mark
