hi,
I had tried
"ifconfig eth1 down "
also "rmmod tulip_cb"

Similar message "device or resource busy " is displayed when I try these.

Could this problem occur , if there is a problem in the hardware?
Since the pcmcia-cs service is loading the driver, is it possible for me
kill a process ?

It is very tedious to reboot every time We remove the card from PCMCIA slot.

Any help would be appreciable..
thanks in advance!!

what i would try:

do an "ifdown eth0" (or whatever) first
maybe followed by a "rmmod tulip_cb"
