[tulip] Conexant Chipset NIC/Modem Combo Problems

Hi,

I'm brand new to the list and was told that this list could solve my
problems.  I have a Compaq(eww I know) 1201Z laptop with a Conexant
chipset ethernet adapter(integrated).  I'm attempting to run Slack
8.0 on it with kernel 2.4.5.  I have tried about every kernel module
I know for network cards since the probed module didn't yield and
eth0 interface.  How can I get my Conexant chipset NIC working?
