Hello,
I've been using an Orinoco 802.11 adapter with wv_lan
module from pcmcia-cs-3.1.24 for quite a long time, inserting and
removing it with no problems at all.
I got a Linksys EtherFast 10/100 CardBus PC Card
yesterday. I plugged it in and it was recognized, modules loaded,
everything just fine (I haven't played with module options and
throughput yet). My problems start when I remove this Linksys
card. Modules are removed, ifconfig and route info is updated,
but if I insert it back again, I get a "cs: socket 0 timed out
during reset", and no beeps at all. I take it out again and get
one beep as always. If I try my Orinoco card again, it is
recognized as memory_cs. If I try a cardctl ident I get a "NULL
pointer at kernel" error message followed by register and stack
contents. I'm using 2.2.18 and pcmcia-cs-3.1.24. Has anyone
experienced these behaviour before?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Matias

ps: I didn't know wether to post this on pcmcia-cs or on tulip,
so I decided to drop it on both :)
