Performance Prob.: Macronix MX98715 / MX98725

Hello all!

I use a Macronix MX98715 / MX98725 in my Linux Box (knecht). 
This obviously is a Dec Tulip Clone and I installed the suuuper
driver

When I connect to my other machine (cybserv) (WinNT or Linux booted) by
starting Netscape and making a download via
ftp://cybserv.cimnet.de/file.bin 
it performs well. 

But I have a problem when I run apache 1.3.4 on the first Linux box
(knecht). When the second machnine (cybserv) wants to get a file 
via http (using Netscape) from first machine (knecht) I only get a
transferrate of about 1.0k or even lower. 

first machine (cybserv) : 3C905B-TX (10/100 MBit autosensing)
5-port Hub Soho Lantech (10/100 MBit autosensing per port)
second machine (knecht) : Macronix MX98715 (10/100 MBit autosensing)

Any ideas are welcome
