Linksys EtherFast 10/100 LAN Card

I am attempting to use this card with the Linksys chipset (not PNIC)
using Linux version 2.0.27 Under the Slackware distribution.

I have modified the rc.Modules file to enable the Tulip driver, however
the boot process tells me the tulip driver failed. No addtional clue as
to what went wrong.

I am running this on a Gateway P120 with 48 megs of ram and have tried
to access the bios to confirm where the PNP bios might have placed the
card, However the BIOS of this machine gives me no clue at all.

Any advise greatly appreciated
