21142 onboard compaq presario laptop

Hi all,

I have a Compaq Presario 1825, with an onboard (not PCMCIA) 10/100
21142-based controller.  The controller is recognized, but the following
error is generated (about 1 per 2 seconds).  The network connection does
not work.  Any help greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

BTW: I am using the latest tulip.c driver, retrieved today (8/18/99).
BTW: ifconfig reports eth0 correctly.
