If you're thinking this is deja vue - you're right. I
went to take advantage of this deal and found that the
old link provided in the Junk Drawer was broken - so I
searched around and found that Intel is still running
this great deal. They also have specials on server and
PC card adapters as well as their 3 port Ethernet
print server for $150($263 on Buy.com). along with
several other introductory offers for their products.
I have ordered the two for $39 management adapters
three times! Intel's top level Desktop NIC (Intel
PRO/100+ Management Adapter) has enhanced "Wired for
Management" manageability functions that let you turn
it on over the network(Wake On LAN), generate alerts
to the network while the PC is off (such as opening
the case) and load an operating system without a boot
diskette. Buycomp.com's price is this charmer is $61,
but Intel is practically giving them away at Two for $39!
