rdate or xntp

if the time difference is to big... it will NOT update the clock

( too big -- more than a few seconds... or more than a few minutes
( depending on which program you are using

what was yoru rdate or ntpupdate syntax ???

eg..  ( put into rc.local or equivalent to account for large time
	differences )
	rdate -ps ntp.linux-consulting.com
