We use it with the SRM console without any problems.
You just specify the kickstart options (e.g. ks=nfs:...) at
the SRM prompt. An even easier solution is to adjust the
aboot.conf on the boot disk. 
If you are interessted, I can send you my copy of the 
aboot.conf we are using.
