altho again 3x as expensive as the belkin you mentioned, i listened in the
past on this list as such things were debated and found raritan to be one
of the more highly regarded names in the business. i'm a happy user of
one of their products whose name i cannot recall and cannot find out
from here because their website makes netscape eat itself.
i've had a very occasional kbd/mouse glitch (usually related to the keyboard
getting stuck in control-lock state) which resolves itself after i switch
back and forth a few times or change VCs in linux.
i use it on an SGI, a few linux machines, and an rs6000 (kbd/mouse only for
that guy) and it keeps them all happy all the time, including during boot.
