Hamachi Help Please

The macintosh driver is available at:

Appears to work quite well, though I am still trying to figure out
why AppleTalk printers are not "seen" on the linux side using
the adrian sun netatalk package. Doing the AppleTalk name
binding protocol requests does not appear to work, though
it has been stated on other lists that the NIC must be in
"promisc mode" which I do not know what that means.
Anybody?
