[vortex] 3C59x driver in kernel 2.4.20

I am trying to compile a new kernel (2.4.20) with support for my 
3Com 3c900 Cyclone 10Mbps TPO card.

I have the same problem with the old drivers for the 2.2 kernel: it doesn't 
worrk. My ethernet card does not work properly: there are several Rx errors.
My network card does work with the special 3c59x-scyld driver, that came with 
Debian Woody, which I am using now.

Maybe you can help me out?
