No, you are not the only one. The list has seen several such reports, but 
in all cases the network becomes non-functional after some time without 
any network activity; you say that in your case the network "regulary 
blocks" - does that mean that it also blocks when there is network 
activity ?
What switch is this card connected to ? Cisco by any chance ?
