At Bogdan's sugguestion, I ran 3Com's 3c90xcfg DOS-based diagnostics. It finds and configures the first port just fine but refuses to recognize the second port. Starting to feel like Tyan's problem. I'll send them a message but am not holding out much hope. I'll post more info if I receive a reply.
