A windows guru here just ran the 3com NIC Doctor on one of our GX150s
that's got Windows 2000 installed.  Looking at the NIC Details supplied
by the program, it too is of the exact right vintage, June 10, 2000.

But according to the utilit, it's successfully set 100Base-T Full Duplex
from an autonegotiate.

So I guess we're back to the operating theory that it's the vagaries of
this epoch of chip set that need some special programming to make work
with auto-negotiate.
