Well, I had the same problem at the weekend with SuSE kernel 2.4.10.
First I thought the card is damaged, because replacing the card by another 
one led to a running system. But when I read this message here, I want to 
know if it may be a softwareerror?!
Help! Otherwise I need to buy a new card!
