Systems starts up, but some times it crashes while heavy network load. My system: Dual-PIII, 3C980C-TXM, Kernel-2.4.0-ac9 On console I get the following error message: eth0: Transmit error, Tx status register 82. The latest driver I tried was '3c59x.c:LK1.1.12 06 Jan 2001'. The drivers from 3Com itself, 3c90x-1.0.0i, can't be compiled for the new kernel. Any idea or help?
