[vortex] 3c556B (ThinkPad T20) success

Hi,
after this week i just retried what didnt work in the first
place but now it simple works.

Latest devel driver and the original patch by Luis helped
me to get this running ...

The problem could have been that one cant extract patches
from the mailinglist archive it seems. Tabs get converted
to spaces somewhow ...
