Indeed, it's the least painful arrangement of PCI cards. Apart from the SB
Live, all of the cards use bus mastering, so that rules out the bottom PCI
slot for everything except the Live, but the bottom two PCI slots share an
IRQ as well, so I have to have some sharing and I have found that the system
works best with the gfx card/NIC sharing - in some other combinations the
drivers for other cards failed - with one particular combination, plugging a
cable into the 509b actually hung the machine!
Unless the shared IRQ is the specific cause of the problem I'm not really
that keen on moving the card, I'd rather live with the overhead of sharing.
