New 3Com Linux Driver

Dear 3Com Linux Network Interface Card User:

We are excited to announce that 3Com is releasing an updated Linux network
driver for use with our latest 3Com EtherLink 10/100 PCI Network Interface Card
(NIC) products!  This robust driver provides network connectivity and stability
with our latest NIC families.  This driver works with our 3C905B, 3C905C, 3C980,
3C980B, 3C980C and 3C900B products.  This driver is being released under terms
of the GNU General Public License:  http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html

This 3Com driver has been tested with numerous Linux distributions including:
RedHat 6.1          kernel version 2.2.12-20 (i386)
Caldera 2.3         kernel version 2.2.10 (i386)
TurboLinux 4.0.5    kernel version 2.2.12 (i386)
SuSE 6.2       kernel version 2.2.10 (i386)

Notes:  Although not tested, this driver is likely to work on Linux
distributions using kernel versions 2.0.36 - 2.2.x.  The driver has been tested
on both UP and SMP machines.  Please see the readme file (included with the
driver) for additional information regarding technical support, driver
installation, configuration, etc.
