3com combo card 3CCFEM656

The good people at Dell tell me that the "3com 10/100 56K combo card"
they can add to my Inspiron 3500 has the 3com model number of
"3CCFEM656". Now, http://cesdis1.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/pcmcia/ says:

Q1: Does the "has a winmodem" comment apply to the line above or below
it?
Q2: Is the 3CCFEM656 same as either of these two?

Has anybody made this combo card work with Redhat 5.2 or 6.0? Or can
somebody suggest another card I should buy instead?
