When I use the diagnostic program for the 3com cards found in

file: vortex-diag.c
I run:
vortex-diag -e
I get the following results

Options: none.
Vortex format checksum is incorrect (004a vs. 10b7).
Cyclone format checksum is incorrect (0xda vs. 0xdc).
Hurricane format checksum is incorrect (0xf3 vs. 0xdc).
