"INVALID CHECKSUM" on 3c905C

Hello,

I've recently installed a 3c905C "Tornado" and when checking the
output from 'dmesg', I saw the message "***INVALID CHECKSUM 0029***".
The card works flawlessly so far, though. I saw in the source of
the driver that 3Com apparently changed the checksumming algorithm
in the past. Is it possible that this happened again, or do I really
have a reason to worry ?
Also, 'vortex-diag' tells me that both the Vortex and Hurricane
format checksums of the EEPROM are incorrect, but the Cyclone one
is correct. What does that mean ?

P.S.: I tried to subscribe to this mailinglist, but I don't know if
it was successful. So CC any replies directly to me, just to be sure.

Thanks,
Alexander Dietrich
