Hi,
	I was hoping to get some help here.  I've set up 4 identical linux
boxes all using the 3COM 3C905 TX card without a problem.  Everything
works great!  However, on the 5th box I got stuck.  Can't ping (or
telnet,...) to any other machine.  In or out. 

The 3c59x.c module loads (dmesg w/ debug below) and ifconfig looks OK. 
IRQ OK. There does seem to be a problem with the carrier ( /proc/net/dev,
below ). What exactly is the carrier?  Does it mean the card is bad or is
it some other problem?
