irq conflicts?

I solved my problems by recompiling the standard kernel.  It is my belief
that by taking out junk you don't have in your system, you reduce the
chance of ill side effects.  Perhaps unnecessary probes on boot up are
wigging out some of your devices?

I sent mail earlier about my IRQ conflicts.  Resolved (well, I have one
card yet to test).
