2 3C905B-TXNM cards + heavy load = crash

I've been trying to figure this one out for a while, but so far I
haven't
had anything consistant except for crashes.

Both 2.0.x and 2.2.x kernel trees show the same problem:
Under heavy load, the kernel oopses and then locks up solid.

Right now I am playing with the Linux Router Project, so I am using the
2.0.36 kernel.
I replaced the driver with the latest source code, as explined on
http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/vortex.html

With that combination, instead of oopses, it just starts dumping an
endless
number of what looks like stack addresses, then reboots, after a minute.
(I think the software watchdog may actually work!)

I need to get this fixed - How can I help track this down?
