Running RedHat 5.1 

With 2.1.124 (no modules) and the .99g vortex driver.

The stock RH 5.1 kernel doesn't see the card.  The 2.1.124 kernel does.
Ethernet address is set properly.  IRQ 11

System seems stable as long as I stay in text mode.  If I start X the
machine clears the screen and locks up.  The kernel didn't have problems
with X until I enabled eth0:

Is there any way to set the card IRQ as I'm thinking it conflicts with my
Riva 330 graphics card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
