Hmmm.  These cards work great for me.  I have a couple of machines I
have built as routers with 4 of these suckers in each of them.  They
just work!  I would never have thought to do an ifdown on any of them.

I had trouble with the .99E driver, but when I moved to the .99G
driver, everything (includeing 100Mbs) worked fine.  This is with
RedHat 5.0 on Dell XPS 120 machines.
