What does 'tulip-diag' report after it stops?
What are the error messages from the driver?

This looks normal.  Two notes
    The station address has been read correctly, unlike the 0.9.* driver.
    You seem to have passed a module option that sets the transceiver to
      advertise only 10baseT.  Was that intentional?  Does the link
      partner expect this?
