SV: [tulip] AutoNegotiation problems with D-Link DFE-500TX and D-LinkDFE-570TX

Hello!

The tulip driver that I am using while having these problems is a
separately compiled module that I replaced the stock kernel tulip.o
with.

That driver is compiled from the tulip development sources version 1.1.8
which I downloaded from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/tulip/tulip-1.1.8.tar.gz

Correction: with the tulip driver in 2.4.12.
