Hi. I'm trying to install tulip to drive a Linksys 10/100 LAN Card
(model LNE100TX v. 4). My Linux distribution (Debian 2.2.18pre21)
has modules enabled, and already includes the files
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/net/tulip.o
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/net/old_tulip.o
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/net/ng_tulip.o
I tried
% depmod -a
% modeprobe tulip
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/net/tulip.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
Hint: this error can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/net/tulip.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/net/tulip.o failed
/lib/modules/2.2.18pre21/net/tulip.o: insmod tulip failed
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!!!
KJ
P.S. For what it's worth, here's the output from tulip-diag:
