[tulip] still can't connect out...

        Hi...
        my linux is slackware7.0  kernel  2.2.13
        i have used "/sbin/modprobe tulip"  and run "netconfig" to config my ether card.
        it say that probed my ether card by using tulip.o.
        but when I type "ifconfig" it still can't connect out.....
        please do me a favor...thanks.
