[tulip] LNE100TX, RH7

Hi ,
      I have a problem not to recognize my second
NIC card which is a Linksys LNE100TX card. My
kernel version is 2.2.16-22smp for a dual
processor compaq proliant running RH7.0. When the
system boots it dint pick the card, so I had to
use the driver that came version v0.92
(netdrivers.tgz which is same as the latest out
there at donald's site.) which fails to compile.

Problem1 : I know RH7.0  has a problem loading
dynamic modules due to the compilation problems
concerning kgcc and the headers from 2.4. I cant
compile the kernel becoz the server is a
production machine and i dont have a smp kernel
anywhere to test . I got the card working as a
second nic on a RH6.2 . 
Any help is greatly appreciated .
