It stinks.

It reports a huge number of tx carrier errors and gets somewhere between
1 and 50 mbits/sec on a 100bT LAN, depending on the environment.  You
also need to down/up the interface after plugging it in, but that's
relatively less serious.

Can someone please direct me to the most appropriate datasheet for this
device?  I have the stuff from Xircom's site
(http://www.xircom.com/cda/page/0,1298,1_20-475,00.html) but that only
has register listings.  I'll need more detail than that.

Is the 21143 spec from http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/specs/21143.pdf
appropriate to this NIC?
