That's what it is -- I was thinking that was disappointing, and coupled with the
fact that my NIC seems to be working too slowly, I was hoping for a speedup.
OTOH, as a test, I tried a 2Mbyte ftp at a system at work and got 4Mbit/s under
AFS ...
