Hello,
I am tring to use a Linksys EtherFast Cardbus 21143 PC Card
in my Compaq Armada 7770 so far without success. (It works
great in Windows 95 and NT thought.) The network is a
10baseT half duplex and I'm connected to an HP hub. The
version of Linux is Redhat and I'm using both 2.0.35 and
2.1.124 kernels. PCMCIA is version 3.0.5 or 3.0.6. Tulip is .89K.
When the network script runs I get a panic
Kernel panic: skput:over: 0486d644:16444
In swapper task - not syncing
or a
Aiee: scheduling in interrupt 00124f61
depending on which version of PCMCIA and how I've set up the
networking config. I've tried various memory windows and IRQs.
I've tried to select different ports. For example
see below the "options=12".
I hope someone has some ideas because I'm in way over my
head! See various config info below.
Thanks,
Paul Wick
