Multiport cards?

Hello!

I'm looking for multiport ethernet adapters, supported in Linux.

Now I know Adaptec is manufacturing some, but they are a bit costly and
hard to get here in Slovenia.

I also know, that Compex has some four port adapters (FL400TX) on the list
and Compex should be less pricey, but I don't know much more about these
cards (ie. if they are supported in Linux - I know FL100TX are, so
maybe...). 

I'd also appreciate any other suggestion and advice about it (I'm
interested in 2-, 4- or even more port adapters).
