tulip vs. Lite On

There was some discussion on the linux smp list about
the genuine tulip vs. the lite on (now used in netgear) chips.

I mentioned that the performance as determined by netperf, was about 75%
for the lite on chips set. I thought the tulip list would 
be interested in these  numbers.

Tulip driver is .90


Netperf test:

where remoteX is the name of the remote system

This is why we are using 21143 (tulip) NICs and as soon
as Don relaeses .91, we will have the autonegotiation problem
fixed. (HINT HINT)
