Could be. From my experience, always hardcode the adapter to the speed
and duplexity you want. Typically cards will negotiate with a 100Mbit/s
FDX switch at only 100Mbit/s HDX when set to auto.

If you are in at HDX in a FDX port, this would be a logical result.
