Adaptec 6911A/TXC problems.

I am having problems using the tulip driver with this particular card.   I
can get the module to load, it takes setting options=6 or options=12 to give
a link in 10BaseT, but when I try and send any sort of packet across the
network it starts sending packets repeatedly over and over again,
continually colliding my hub (the collision light stays on and the traffic
led blinks repeatedly very fast) anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

P.S.  I have gotten this card to work before; I remember it took a lot of
effort but I forgot the process.. it was with RedHat 5.1 (using 5.2 now)
