Running with Linksys 10/100 CardBus

I've been attempting to get the tulip driver to run with a Linksys
EtherFast 10/100 CardBus (not the regular Etherfast 10/100) PCMCIA card
on a Dell Inspiron 7000 with RedHat 5.2. So far I've had no luck
getting it to run. I have tried building tulip.c (current plus the test
version) with both the pcmcia-cs-3.0.5 (provided by RedHat) and the
pcmcia-cs-3.0.6 libraries.

I am getting cardmgr to recognize the card, load the drivers (including
tulip_cb.o), but I am never able to get to the network.

As for error messages, I was able to get "Network unreachable" even
though the network settings were correct, and I have also see an "eth0:
Transmitter stopped! CSR5 if f0678006, CSR6 b386202" message with
variations on the reported values.

One thing that is suspect, is that the hardware address reported by
"ifconfig" is always "00:80:00:80:00:80". Which looks like something is
failing when querying the card??

Any suggestions? Has anyone been able to get one of these cards working
(Linksys claims this card works on their web site).

Thanks,

- Ain

P.S. Yes, the card works fine with Win98 (uck!)
